Full Description
Model farm, dated 1838. Brick farm house with hipped roof, L-shaped, two storeys. Three bays with central doorway. Gabled porch on octagonal timber columns. End stacks with twin octagonal shafts. To the east a single storey range of outbuildings terminates in a three storey granary with pyramidal roof and moulded eaves. Upper door to stairway. Single storey range has brick colonnade to north. Curved boundary wall with railings to south. Red brick outbuildings enclose the north side of the courtyard with a gable date 'R M 1838'. North barn with stepped gables has apparently earlier brickwork. West range also had brick colonnade, now underbuilt.
