ALL CROPMARKS PREVIOUSLY RECORDED AT THIS SITE ARE NOW RECORDED SEPARATELY. See June 2007 below.
Probably 1970s. On hill east of church east of Spong Hill.
Exact circumstances of discovery unknown.
Near complete pot, ?Early Saxon bowl, with fresh breaks.

Shows approximate find spot of urn to be at centre of cropmark complex including ring ditch (faint) and three ditched trackways continuing beyond photograph.

Shows area of cropmarks greatly extended to east; large rectangular enclosures overlying other marks.
