Full Description
22 September 1983. Stray Find.
Found by J. J. Wymer (NAU) on forestry track running east west 100m south of Mickle Hill Barrow (NHER 5707):
1 Mesolithic flint microlith. Obliquely blunted point with basal retouch and extreme tip missing. Faint blue patina. See scale drawing on (S1). Donated to Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1984.7).
Radius about 20m around find spot searched. Several flakes were observed, but no concentration was visible and no Mesolithic blades were found.
