Summary
An American P-47 Thunderbolt fighter plane and a B-24 Liberator bomber collided here around 1942. The site may have been excavated by pupils from Langley School.

Information from Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum (indexed as in 'The Thicks', but name of wood changes at parish boundary).
