Summary

Hill Farm house itself is probably 17th century in date, although it is encased in 19th century grey brick. Of the two listed barns, one is 17th century in date with an original upper floor, and the other dates to the 18th century.

Under restoration (1984), number now includes house as well, shown to be a two-storeyed building partly rebuilt in late 16th century and partly in 18th century ?

House.
Probably 17th century. Encased in 19th century grey brick. Steeply pitched black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends, left hand end at slightly higher level. Two storeys and attic. Three widely spaced windows, 19th century two-light casements with segmental heads. Wide moulded doorcase with panelled door. Large brick chimney stack. Attic windows in gable ends.
