Summary

This 17th century brick building was divided into two houses and altered in the 19th century. The house may have had a timber frame with brick gables and a brick façade in the 17th century. The present facade and heightening date to the 19th century.

Works to the house in 1983 removed much of the original interior and little can now be added to the report, but revision of the previous survey suggests the possibility of a timber frame, with brick gables and perhaps a brick facade, all of the 17th century; the rear wall may be slightly later and the facade and heightening of the 19th century.
