Summary

This World War Two airfield was used in 1941 as a decoy airfield for Docking. In 1942 it became a satellite airfield for Foulsham. It was used by the RAF Signals and was then operational until 1945. It was used for storage until 1947. A mural from one of the buildings on the site is now at the RAF Museum at Hendon.

Some runways remain. Hangers in good condition on east side, used as factory.

Also control tower (now house), Nissen huts, etc. Millers not factory. Officially known as Egmere or North Creake. Begun 1941 as decoy airfield for Docking, 1942 became satellite for Foulsham. 1944 Signals, then operational until 1945. Storage site until 1947. Now runways removed, used as grass drying plant.
