Full Description
16 November 1983. Fenland fieldwalking. Rough ploughed but fairly well weathered field.
Odd sherds medieval over field. WPP AX (S1).
For full details of wares, flint types etc see Fenland Folders (S2).
R. Silvester (NAU), 16 November 1983.
Also (S3) in account of Wisbech Bypass fieldwork. Describes as site M10, West Drove South, a medieval jug dug up
in ditching through the raised area on 'south' side of the drove, amongst a surface medieval scatter over 100m. But the drove runs northwest-southeast. Grid ref given is TF 5040 1313 which is some way west of drove. But site, as it is on bypass line and not beyond West Drove, must fall within this county number.
E. Rose (NAU), 27 October 1988.
