Summary

Fieldwalking in 1983 by the Fenland Survey recovered a number of medieval pottery sherds from the edge of a roddon on this field, as well as some modern material.

15 November 1983. Fenland fieldwalking. Large field, originally subdivided, winter wheat, fairly well weathered.
Odd medieval sherds mostly on edge of roddon as it emerges from drove at grid ref. A couple more from roddon in same relative position but further south. (All along this edge there is a fair amount of recent material). WPP AV (S1).
