Summary

During an evaluation carried out during the construction of the Aylsham bypass in 1979, a pit of unknown date was revealed, and prehistoric pot boilers and an Iron Age pottery fragment were found.

Circular pit, 0.9m diameter, 0.2m deep, contains charcoal, pot boilers and one Iron Age sherd.
