1983. Metal detecting. Grid reference called 'centred' on NCM card but marked with cross. [1]
Five Roman coins:
Three barbarous radiates AD 270 to 280s;
Constantine II, GLORIA EXERCITVS (2 standards) AD 330 to 335;
Constans VICTORIAE DD AVGGQNN AD 347 to 348.
Late Saxon coin: halfpenny of Harthacnut, arm and sceptre type AD 1040 to 1042, moneyer Leofwinc or Leofnoth.
