Full Description
'About 20 years ago' before 1983. Found in one of earliest ploughings of the field from pasture. In field immediately behind foundary and alongside road to Wighton.
Two Roman coins:
As of Antoninus Pius TR POT XIIII COS SC AD 149 to 150.
Follis of Constantius I GENIO POPVLI ROMANI AD 295 to 296. See (S1).
Note the description of the findspot suggests the field between the known Roman sites NHER 2024 and NHER 2041, possibly linking them.
