Summary
Fieldwalking in this area during 1982 recovered a number of early medieval pottery sherds, a fragment of bone and a large quantity of mussel shells.

Autumn 1982. Southeast of mound (NHER 19801).
Concentration of twelve small early medieval sherds.
One fragment of bone.
Large quantities of mussel shells.
Sherds seen by E. Rose (NAU) but information and identifications from source [1].
