Summary

Fieldwalking in 1983 by the Fenland Survey recovered a general scatter of medieval pottery sherds from this field. A concentration of medieval pottery sherds, animal bone, and fired clay and slag fragments were also noted on the east side of a former trackway. This site was considered a rarity in the Marshland as only a small amount of contamination of late medieval/post medieval material was noted.
