The cropmarks noted below are now recorded as NHER 53600.

1979 and 1984. Found on surface and by metal detecting.
Neolithic to Bronze Age flints; Roman coin hoard; medieval coin.
1985.
Further Roman coins and Bronze Age palstave fragment.
1986.
Prehistoric sherd, Roman brooch, etc.
1987. Fieldwalking and metal-detecting.
Further finds recovered by [2] (details as above):
1 Mesolithic/Neolithic flint axehead fragment (Context 8).
10 Roman coins (all from hoard; Context 3) and 1 decorative mount (Context 4).
1 ?Roman copper alloy bar (Context 4) and 1 iron hobnail (Context 3).
1 post-medieval silver headdress pin (Context 17).
Identified by T. Gregory (NAU) and compiled by W. Milligan (NCM), 3 May 1988. See list in file and NCM polaroids.
Flint axehead and post-medieval pin possibly amongst material subsequently donated to the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1999.1.32.55).

Oblong enclosure.
January 2006.
The coin hoard included about two hundred and forty coins. They range in date from 30 BC to AD 195 to 197. The hoard was probably buried around 195/197 AD.
