Full Description
24 February 1984. Large field cut by parish boundary (formerly several fields) with young winter wheat, well weathered soil.
Context 1: odd medieval sherds becoming particularly frequent close to church and vicarage. WPA AK (S1).
Context 2: at 5038 1760 (old St Andrew parish). Small collection of medieval sherds from strawberry beds which make life difficult. Small/medium roddon passing through here it seems more than likely that this is part of a concentration. WPA 5 (S2).
For full details of wares, flint types etc see Fenland Folders (S3).
R. Silvester (NAU) 24 February 1984.
