Summary

Fieldwalking in 1984 by the Fenland Survey recovered sherds of medieval pottery from over this field, more commonly from the northern half, and especially in the north-eastern corner. A Late Saxon pottery sherd was also recovered.

1 March 1984. Well weathered plough soil.
Sherds medieval pottery over field, more common in north half and especially in north-east corner, which may be close to undiscovered site. Also one Late Saxon sherd. WPP DE (S1).
