Summary

This timber framed house was built around 1600. It has an altered lobby entrance plan, two storeys and a thatched roof. In the 18th century a bay was added and the south gable was rebuilt in brick.

Timber framed lobby entrance plan (altered). Two storeys. Additional 18th century right bay but original about 1600. Right internal gable chimneystack and ridge chimneystack. South gable 18th century brick. Close studded interior; stopped beams. Remains of five light diamond mullioned window now looking into rear outshut (mullions restored). Similar at first floor looking east and north. Tie beams on large arched braces (one survives) Queen strut roof.
