Summary

Fieldwalking in 1983 to 1984 in advance of road construction work recovered a four sherds of coarse Roman pottery, and one sherd of south Gaulish samian ware.

Winter 1983 - 1984. Found on surface of ploughed field while walking proposed bypass route in bypass fieldwork (field numbered 95 for purpose of survey). In 25m block 175-200m north-east of south-west field boundary, just south
of old southwest to northeast ditch which used to divide field.
Four sherds Roman coarse ware and one sherd f27 South Gaulish samian ware.
