Summary

Fieldwalking in 1983 to 1984, in advance of a road construction work, recovered a sherd of medieval pottery and a sherd of post medieval pottery.

Winter 1983 - 1984. Found on surface of ploughed field while walking strip along proposed west route in bypass fieldwalking (field numbered 100 for purpose of survey). Found 100-125m north of Ingoldishthorpe-Snettisham
boundary.
One sherd medieval Grimston green-glaze and one sherd post medieval. In NCM.
