The site centre has been altered from TL 9625 8852 to TL 9630 8863 as a result of the NMP mapping.
The runway described above is visible as an overgrown concrete structure on aerial photographs (S2-S4). It is still visible as a soilmark as recently as 2005 (S5). Given its location, around 1km to the northwest of the former airfield and World War two depot at Roudham (NHER 12414), and around 2km to the west of Snetterton airfield, it was clearly in use during World War Two.
E. Bales (NMP), 13 September 2012.
