March 1984. Found when fieldwalking with metal detector.
West of Sewell's Lane.
Medieval sherds.
Post medieval bronze 16th century buckle fragment and farthing token of James I or Charles I.
Identified by S. Margeson (NCM).
April 1984.
Roman mortarium base fragment. Lead glazed earthenware.
Bronze hinged fitting, post medieval.
Details as above.
Late medieval transitional base - second or waster.
Copper alloy moulded pin from annular brooch or buckle, medieval
(S1).
August 1984. Metal detecting.
Socketed chisel blade.
