Summary

This is the site of a house marked on a map of 1590, but the visible structure seems to date to the 18th century. It is possible that the upper floors and stack were inserted in the 17th century into an earlier timber-framed house. The house appears to have been recoated in brick, and a barn added, in the 18th century.
