Full Description
8 March 1984. Fenland Fieldwalking. Well weathered plough soil.
Context 1: general scatter medieval sherds mainly at west end. (S1).
Context 2: at 5126 1539 small concentration medieval pottery 20 x 19m though sherds sparse. Bone moderate; shell moderate to abundant. Post medieval building material abundant, moderate slag but post medieval pot sparse to
medium. On edge drove where drain now cuts through. Dark stain but may relate to later usage. (S2).
