Full Description
1984. Casual Find.
A Byzantine bronze coin of Focas (602 - 610AD) was found in the back garden.
Obverse: half figure facing inscribed dMFOCAS.
Reverse: XXXX NIKO in exergue inscribed at top not legible.
Minted Nicomedia.
Identified by E. B. Green (NCM) February 1984.
