Summary

Medieval and post medieval pottery have been found during fieldwalking. Metal detecting has recovered Roman and post medieval coins and a medieval mirror case.

Base sherd medieval unglazed.
1 sherd glazed red earthenware.

February/March 1998. Metal detecting revealed very few metal finds.
Only two worthy of record:
Small, conical lead weight with central perforation weighing 5.742gm. Height 10mm maximum width 12mm. ?Date, certainly not recent.
Post medieval coin.
