Summary

Fieldwalking between 1983 and 1984 recovered prehistoric flint flakes and cores and fragments of medieval and post medieval pottery. Metal-detecting in 2016 recovered a post-medieval button.

1983 to 1984. Bare well weathered ploughsoil, no concentrations.
14 worked flints, 11 flakes, 3 crude cores (J. Wymer (NAU) January 1985).
2 bowl rims medieval unglazed, 4 sherds medieval unglazed, 1 rim 1 sherd late medieval/trans, 9 glazed red earthenware, 3 stoneware, 1 flowerpot.
