13 February 1984. Small plot south of track between Rectory and Avenue Farm.
Good conditions, growing corn.
Medieval concentration roughly in centre.
Post medieval sherds frequent but probably not indicating occupation, not collected except in error (these listed below).
3 sherds probably Thetford type.
46 medieval including unglazed, glazed Grimston, large unglazed strap handle, two shelly sherds, glazed cooking pot rim which could be Midlands (otherwise Grimston).
2 late Medieval/early post medieval, 2 glazed red earthenware.
