16 February 1984. Section of field immediately north of Avenue Farm. Divided into two contexts, context 1 to east, context 2 to west.
Context 1.
1 prehistoric flint-gritted sherd, 1 Thetford Jar Rim, 1 St Neots bowl fragment, 6 glazed Grimston, 1 ?Bourne D, 23 predominately medieval unglazed.
Only 2 sherds from west of line 28m west from east edge.
Context 2.
1 sherd St Neots, 5 sherds medieval unglazed, 3 sherds glazed Grimston.
No finds from eastern 30m.
