Visit July 2017
Fire in July 2017. Most of strcture survives apart from the thatch and some common rafters. Floor was inserted into a barn - nothing to suggest that the building was an open hall. Simple frame with cranked braces to corner posts. Floor inserted using a large transverse principal with ogee and nicked chamfer stops. Very crude queen post roof with no collars or braces but supporting the purlins well enough. For further information see (S2).
