Summary

This was the site of a settlement during the medieval period, and a property is recorded on the site in a 15th century document. The medieval pottery and kiln waste found during field walking suggests that this may also have been a medieval pottery production site. Prehistoric flints, Roman and post-medieval pottery and a post-medieval token have also been found. Metal-detecting in 2010 recovered Romano-British and medieval pottery, a post-medieval coin, medieval, medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval metal objects including a post-medieval sword-belt mount fragment.
