Full Description
1980 and 1984. Field OS Great Fransham 57 East of Moor Lane, north northwest of Curds Hall.
Detailed field walking including some material by [1].
Grid of 44 squares produced much medieval wares including Grimston and early medieval, possibly some wasters; few Roman sherds greyware and micaceous; worked flints; undated jetton.

The post-medieval silver vervel was submitted as potential Treasure (2009 T532) and subsequently acquired by Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 2010.174).

The silver hawking vervel found in September 2009 and reported as Treasure case 2009 T532 was declared Treasure, and acquired by Norfolk Museums and Archaeology Service in July 2010.
