This site is recorded as Med 2 in (S2). (S2) notes that the scatter of sherds suggests that the settlement was probably surrounded by a block of arable land, bounded by common pasture and demesne woodland. No certain documentary evidence for this settlement has been found, but it may be the messuage referred to in a mid 15th century document.
