Summary

This is the site of a post medieval house. Intensive field walking on the site recovered prehistoric flints, fragments of pottery dating from the Iron Age to the post medieval periods, a medieval whetstone and a post medieval buckle.

Weathered ploughsoil but some spill of coal from next field may mask finds.
Early Saxon? rim, Early Saxon sherds; ?Iron Age sherds, Grimston, medieval and post medieval sherds, worked flint; post medieval bronze buckle.
