Summary

A post medieval sunken road, in part still visible, although now under pasture. 18th and 19th century maps show it was originally the village street.

Hollow way, running from east side of yard of former school to brook.
Good condition, under pasture. Still shown as road on (S1) of 1838 (and current 6 inch Ordnance Survey map still shows section east of brook, not seen, as Blind Lane). (S2) shows that this was once part of the village street which then ran through what is now the park of the hall, before being diverted north of the hall at some date between 1797 and 1838.
