Summary

This was the site of a small settlement during the medieval period, and a house and close of twenty acres is first recorded on the site in about 1430. Fieldwalking has recovered fragments of medieval and post medieval pottery and a probable flint flake.

Vegetable patch only investigated; finds suggest nearby medieval occupation.
Large numbers (for size) of Grimston ware etc, glazed red earthenware, stone ware etc.
