Summary

Fieldwalking and metal-detecting at this location between 1979 and 2024 recovered medieval pottery sherds; a medieval coin and a number of other metal objects, including undateable lead weights; a Middle Bronze Age palstave; a Late Bronze Age socketed axe fragment; a Late Saxon to post-medieval lead spindle whorl; a medieval/post-medieval bell and a post-medieval lead cloth seal.
