23 October 1983. Field Ordnance Survey Great Fransham 157 (except southeast corner now built over by Station Farm). Field walking in unsuitable conditions, but field clearly devoid of any medieval or early post medieval occupation debris. Finds only 1 worked flint, (plus clay pipe and recent rubbish).
