Summary

Two concentrations of prehistoric pot boilers, prehistoric flints, a fragment of Roman pottery and a fragment of medieval pottery, found during field walking.

1978 and 1983. Field walking. Ordnance Survey field Great Fransham 170. Good conditions.
Pot boiler sites; context 4 at TF 9042 1370 is 12m east to west and 6m north to south, context 5 at TF 9028 1369 is 9m diameter.
Worked flint, possible Roman sherd and Grimston sherd.
