Full Description
Early 1980. Field Ordnance Survey Great Fransham 220. Field walking in good conditions.
Boundaries removed; east boundary not shown on (S1), and easternmost strip of field G96 included by accident in this 'field'.
Large quantities of Roman sherds.
Medieval sherds including Grimston, early medieval, late medieval/early post medieval, post medieval sherds including glazed red earthenware.
One sherd Ipswich ware.
Flints.
