Summary

Fieldwalking in 1985 by the Fenland Fieldwalking Survey recovered a scatter of medieval pottery sherds from across this field, thought to be indicative of medieval manuring.

Young winter wheat with weathered soil.
Context 1: General scatter over rest of field. Medieval sherds, manuring scatter, but quite plentiful. TYL DA (S1).
