Full Description
Early September 1984. Metal detecting. Old parkland.
Very worn penny whose apparently no stops. ?Edward II. Apparently London mint.
Also: Extremely clipped penny, York mint because of quatrefoil at centre of cross on reverse; in view of X (only letter left) at end of inscription must be Edward III's York penny with inscription EDWARDVS DEI G REX.
