Summary

A Roman horse harness with a pattern of concentric rings dated to 49 to 60 AD was found here by metal detecting. This find is part of a larger Roman to Late Saxon settlement and Early Saxon cemetery complex.

Roman? horse harness pendant - copper alloy disc with pattern of concentric rings 2 to 3cm diameter. Trace of ?flat sectioned loop. Provisionally dated from comparison with similar in (S1). 49 to 60 AD.
