1983 to 1984. Field walking. Field Ordnance Survey Great Fransham 275.
Very poor (1983) and very good (1984) conditions.
Roman sherds including Samian.
Medieval sherds including Grimston, post medieval sherds including glazed red earthenware.
Prehistoric flints.
Shelly limestone lump.
Thetford ware Late Saxon; Ipswich ware Middle Saxon.
