Full Description
1979 and 1980. Field Ordnance Survey Great Fransham 282. Field walking, good conditions.
Roman pottery, Ipswich ware, Thetford ware, medieval pot including Grimston and early medieval, post medieval pot including glazed red earthenware, flints, lava.

May and June 1991. Field walking finds.
Context 18, small pit 'excavated' after stripping of topsoil for construction of new farm track along west edge of field.
Pit contained ?Late Bronze Age or Iron Age sherds.
