Summary
This was the site of a settlement during the medieval period. Field walking has recovered prehistoric flints and fragments of pottery dating from the Roman to the post medieval periods, including a concentration of early medieval pottery.

Full Description
1981 to 1982. Ordnance Survey field Great Fransham 302. Field walking; concentrations to northwest.
Large quantities medieval sherds including early medieval amd Grimston.
Roman sherds.
Post medieval sherds including glazed red earthenware and stoneware.
Worked flint.
Grimston Thetford ware.
