Full Description
About 1968.
Rumours of socketed axes being found in cable laying: see sites NHER 2022, NHER 2078.
Information from (S1).
Both this site and NHER 2078 are marked as having produced "Bronze Axes" on a map drawn by [1] to indicate the locations of various discoveries made on the Field House estate [2]. This would suggest that Bronze Age objects were indeed found at both locations during the laying of cables in the 1960s.
