Summary
This was the site of a small settlement during the medieval period. Fragments of 12th and 13th century pottery have been found during field walking, as well as slag and parts of a quern of unknown date.

14 January 1979. Ordnance Survey field Great Fransham 386. Field walking in good conditions.
Grimston Thetford to early medieval sherds, also glazed Grimston few lava and slag fragments, not a spread.
