19 July 1981. Ordnance Survey field Little Fransham 68.
Field walking, beet, casual finds.
Medieval wares including Grimston and early medieval (plus 1 recent sherd).

March 1985. Whole field walked. Good conditions.
Medieval wares including Grimston and early medieval.
Thetford and Ipswich ware.
Much Roman grey ware.
Worked flints, slag (sample taken) lava and limestone.
Soilmarks of possible moated site on 1946 aerial photographs.
