Full Description
7 March 1984 and 16 September 1984. Ordnance Survey field Little Fransham AJGR L149.
Field walking, good conditions.
Medieval sherds including Grimston.
Roman or Late Saxon sherds also Grimston Thetford.
16th century glazed sherds, worked flint.

This site, and NHER 20629, are recorded as LS16 and Med 60 in (S2). The settlement began to be occupied in the 11th century, and continued into the 12th century.
