Summary

Fieldwalking in 1984 by the Fenland Survey recovered a concentration of Roman pottery, with a very small amount of bone, near a small roddon on this field.

23 October 1984. Drilled field, crop just emerging. Weathered soil but not particularly well.
Sparse scatter Roman pottery, with very small amount of bone. On side and beyond small roddon. Area shows dark
staining. 43m north to south x 20m east ot west. WPP 86 (S1).
